Prentice Fairbrother, Psy.D.

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Prentice Fairbrother, and I am a Registered Psychological Associate with a passion for supporting people in becoming themselves. I believe in the power of relationship, presence, and even a little playfulness to help you grow. You are welcome here, fully and without condition. I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep respect into every therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live more fully in alignment with your values and move gently toward change, no matter how small.

Trained in relational, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and acceptance-based behavioral therapies, I understand how our past experiences–both trial and triumph–shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Healing happens in relationship, and through our connection we can begin to uncover the patterns that once protected you, but may no longer serve you. I’m here to walk with you as you reconnect to what matters, loosen what no longer fits, and move toward a more fulfilling, authentic life, even in the face of discomfort.

I work across the lifespan, from school age children to adults navigating both early and later stages of life. No two journeys are the same, and my approach adapts with you. For children, I draw from attachment, family systems, expressive-art, and psychodynamic play therapy. Collaboration with parents and caregivers is integral in providing the best support for your child’s growth and wellbeing.

I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, relationship concerns, and identity exploration. I also bring experience in supporting clients living with OCD, chronic pain management, as well as young adults navigating career development, high achievement pressures, and perfectionism.

I specialize in working with those exploring the complexities of neurodivergence, including ADHD, autism spectrum, and learning differences.
